Star Wars: Keyenne

One of my Star Wars OCs. Keyenne is a former Luka Sene of the Miraluka species. She wasn't quite convinced that the Light Side was as good as it seemed, as many lived and worked and loved and died in the darkness without being evil, while many so-called heroes failed to address the base causes of what they called evil, the tyranny and corruption and systemic neglect of the needs and betterment of the people. Though those in the Light disdained this darkness that others lived in, and what sort of people the darkness produced, they did nothing to change it, instead content to live in their precious light.

So she decided to study the Dark Side just as she had studied the Light. Along the way, her malleable sense of self molded itself to the expectations, beliefs, and personality traits of others to better incorporate more and more points of views and experiences. It was her belief that only by combining All into One and making One into the Whole could true understanding of the Force and of the lives tied to it be achieved.

Her delving into the Dark Side led her to a Chiss trained by a Dark Jedi. Keyenne helped nurse Ka'osaot'ca back to health following the ordeals the blue-skinned beauty endured on the world of her now-dead Master-in-exile. Once Ka'osaot'ca was back on her feet, she instructed Keyenne in the usage of a lightsaber and gave her one of those she was carrying with her, that had formerly been carried by Ka'osaot'ca's Master, a man named Meteo Shan. During their training, their philosophical discussions, and their recuperation, they started a physical relationship. However, Ka'osaot'ca's goals lay in more than just finding love. She still had too much fear and hate inside of her, and no outlet for it.

So, as interesting a specimen of the Dark Side as Ka'osaot'ca was, Keyenne had to let the Chiss go about her business.

On Keyenne's way back from her Dark Side studies  she developed the idea there was more to the Force than Dark and Light. More even than Balance, than Gray, than Shadow, than Twilight. That perhaps all these things were simply one thing, composed of many things, and that all theories, even those which conflicted, were simultaneously true and simultaneously false.

It was just an idea at that point. She had no evidence beyond the increasingly patchwork construction of her own mindscape, and all the various different perspectives therein. But she decided the best way to test for supporting evidence would be to examine as many different Force users as possible, take a part of who they were, and add it to herself, until she could properly see the whole picture.

And the best way to gain those pieces, was to become a surgeon.
